EZ375 Description
This model utilizes a 500 gallon tank which processes 375
gallons at a time. But it takes about 3 days to complete, so the
average amount per 3 day period is 375 gallons. Run it twice a
week to make 750 Gallons per week.
This is a simpler version of our commercial model (the
EZ180), but a much more powerful unit than our model EZ240. This tank will simplify your life as it makes 375
gallons in 1 tank, instead of multiple tanks. Uses the same tank
to de-water, preheat, process & wash.

Why does
this model cost much more than the EZ240?
There are many upgrades to
this model to improve the durability of the
components for larger use, and to handle the
larger volumes of oil & biodiesel. The
improvements are as follows:
-
Uses 1 large 500 gallon tank instead of 3 smaller 110 gallon
tanks. This larger tank allows for less time making biodiesel,
but it does cost more than 3 smaller tanks.
-
Uses a commercial duty processing pump which flows at 60gpm for
a powerful mixing action, (actual 60gpm, compare
to our smaller pumps 12gpm rated, actual 8-10gpm flow) it's just not
explosion proof. But it is a TEFC pump, meaning 'Totally
enclosed fan cooled' which is the next best thing. NOTE: Anyone who use multiple small
water pumps to try and mix this volume of biodiesel is fooling
you. You NEED this much more powerful, and more expensive
pump. This pump is much more powerful and weighs about
40lbs. MUCH more heavy duty than the normal biodiesel
processor pump. Costs 10 times as much as our smaller pumps.

Methoxide mixing pump is an Explosion Proof, self priming air powered
diaphragm pump that is very efficient and costs about 10 times as
much as the mixing pump on our smaller processors.
-
4500 watt inline heater. Heats the oil in the processor by
passing it through an external oil heater with low watt density
heating elements. You can also use this heater to reheat the
biodiesel if needed. You still must be careful when heating
biodiesel with residual methanol in it though, (although our low watt
density heaters are much cooler per square inch than normal heating
elements).

Uses 1" & 1 1/4" black iron pipe, fittings and valves for
full flow capability. Using all black iron pipe instead of
poly hoses costs much more, but will last forever. These sizes
will give you a full flow capability needed to quickly and
efficiently process larger batches like this.

Comes with 4 misters installed instead of one. 4
misters will more effectively cover the larger tank surface allowing
for quicker wash times.
-
Comes with a timer controlled water valve which allows for
precise, reliable mist wash times. This is NOT a cheap
hardware store garden timer. Includes the same type of timer
used to control the processor pump and a high quality electric
shutoff valve.

Comes with an external 500 gallon drying tank and dedicated
drying pump
-
The
methoxide mixer is a 110 gallon mixing tank with custom made screens
to keep the catalyst in suspension for quick and thorough mixing.
-
Comes with a large, Stainless steel scale that allows you to
precisely measure out the required amount of catalyst all at once.
This scale is large enough to set a bucket on.

This is basically the same as our EZ180
commercial version, but with the following differences -
-
NON Explosion proof mixing pumps (requires adequate
ventilation). This is still a commercial duty pump
which flows at 50gpm for a powerful mixing action, (actual 50gpm,
compare to our smaller pumps 12gpm rated, actual 8-10gpm flow) it's
just not explosion proof. NOTE: Anyone who use multiple
small water pumps to try and mix this volume of biodiesel is
fooling you. You NEED this much more powerful, and more
expensive pump. This pump is nearly 2 feet long and weighs
about 70lbs. MUCH more heavy duty than the normal biodiesel

Less powerful 4500 watt inline heater with analog thermostat,
no flow control switch or relay panel. It works well, it just
takes longer and requires more manual operation than our model C180.

Requires you to manually dispense the catalyst
(requires opening the lid of the methoxide tank to dispense the

Speed Dry Option-
All of our processors are capable of drying
your biodiesel in the processor itself,
after all washing is done .
But the drawback is that it takes about 4-8
hours. If you would like to cut that
time in half, we have a speed dry option
which dries the fuel in open top 55 gallon
barrels using the setup below. The
exposes the biodiesel to more air, quicker,
which simply dries faster. Comes with
the assembly below, plus we plumb the
processor differently to allow the processor
pump to circulate the biodiesel in and out
of the drying tanks. Then when it's
dry, the processor pump will also pump the
dried biodiesel to a waiting fuel storage
barrel or tank. Requires about 45-60
minutes of installation time on your part,
but everything we can pre-assemble for you
will be done. You'll have to setup the
drying barrels, and install the drying setup
on a wall as shown, (full details come with
every processor)

EXTREME Insulation Package
Includes everything listed above in the Super insulation Package,
PLUS: An Additional roll of vinyl faced fiberglass insulation that you
can wrap around the whole processor like a blanket. Will require you
to install it yourself as you basically wrap this around the tank, then
secure it with tape, straps or something similiar. This is not as
pretty as the Foil insulation alone, but can improve your working time in a
cold shop. Price is per tank, so if you want additional tanks insulated by

If you will be using your processor in a
very cold area, such as a shop that is 50
degrees or less, you may want to invest in
our super insulation package to further
minimize heat loss during the processing &
settling.
Includes 2 Layers of our standard
high tech R-14 Foil type insulation (we
special order it) each spaced 1/4" apart for
premium insulating ability. With the
foil layer spaced out from the tank with a
spacer this helps to improve thermal
efficiency even further. In addition
the lower part of the tank also receives 2
layers of R-14 Foil type insulation.
Another pad is also included which can be
placed on the top of the tank to minimize

OPTIONAL DRYING TANK-
Especially for the Model EZ160.
This
is an open topped 210 gallon polyethylene drying tank. This
is a little quicker to dry in since you can dry all 160 gallons at
once. If you choose
this option we will delete the 2 tank drying setup above, but will
include a multi nozzle drying setup with a separate, dedicated drying
pump. Note:
closed tank inside the open tank is not included.

OIL COLLECTION LIDS
Stops Oil Theft!
While we can't guarantee a stop to oil theft, these lids
help stop oil theft if you lock it onto your barrel with
the option barrel lock. Once locked on, there is
no way to get a hose into this barrel to pump it out.
And the stout ring (not included) prevents prying up a
side.

We also designed these to leak a lot
if someone try's to dolly away the barrel with this lid
on it, preventing theft of the whole thing. But,
you can remove the filter lid, and pump it yourself.
Or replace the filter lid with the normal barrel lid,
and dolly it away. Other than sheer destruction of
the barrel lid, no one will be stealing your oil any
longer.
These lids will also Pre-filter your oil
at the restaurant so you no longer get those beer
bottles, peanuts, paper bags, fish heads, etc.
Also great for pre-filtering oil at home.
Built from Heavy 14 Gauge steel and
painted satin black for long life. Comes with the
lid (shown in black), the Yellow, weather resistant
vinyl labels, including one with your phone #.
Barrels, locking rings and optional Barrel lock not

To lock it on, this requires the Heavy
Duty barrels with the ring that is secured by a heavy

'wanted ad' and got 7 sources. Try paint supply
stores (where we got these), wineries, etc.

(both are 2 part chemicals, so are liquid in the barrel)

When placed over the locking bolt on your barrel, this
locking device prevents access to the bolt head, preventing someone from
removing the barrel ring without your permission. Requires the
Heavy Duty barrels with the ring that is secured by a heavy duty bolt.

Why
Buy a Processor from us instead of building your own?
Good question. Yes, most mechanically minded people can figure
out how to build a biodiesel processor, and it will likely make
biodiesel. But there's a BIG difference between a well
designed processor that makes high quality fuel, and just a
processor. MOST homemade processors start out with a poor
design due to the builders lack of knowledge in correct design
principles. And just because a processor makes fuel, DOESN'T
mean it's good, high quality fuel. It can easily be full of
free & total glycerin, soap, water, catalyst, etc, BUT, it can look
perfectly fine, even clear, while still containing many mono & di-glycerides.
Our filter supplier tells us of many people clogging up their fuel
filters with their homemade biodiesel. And it's because a
poorly designed system will make low grade fuel, which WILL
eventually require engine repairs.
And while a diesel will likely run quite awhile on this fuel, it
will get you one day, costing big money to repair.
Our design
is the result of Thousands of hours of research & testing. We
have modified our design dozens of times to further simplify the
process and improve the fuel quality. We've done the work for
you. Why take chances?
And
that's not to mention the 20 or 30 trips to the hardware store,
hundreds of hours of research, wasted time building and re-building
your processor, and still not knowing if you have it right.
